Run Ableton As Administrator

broken image

To launch a program as Administrator, simply right-click the Live or other DAW icon from your desktop and select 'Run as Administrator'. For Mac users, Live may also request admin privileges when first trying to configure the ReWire engine. Simply enter the admin password when prompted. ReWire is bit depth dependent, therefore both DAWs need to. EZD 2 unfortunately does not show up in my Plug-Ins Folder. I use the 64-Bit Version and run Ableton Live as Admin and also tried to implement it by manually selecting the folder of the EZdrummer.dll but still no chance to use EZD 2 in Ableton Live. Download and install software, do not run it. Download Patch and Run it as administrator on installation directory of Ableton: Default is C:ProgramDataAbletonLive 9 SuiteProgram; Patch will create the file 'Authorize.auz' in same folder. Double click on the 'Authorize.auz' to ACTIVATE and run the application.

  1. Run Ableton As Administrator
  2. Run Ableton As Administrator Download
  3. Run Ableton As Administrator Online
  1. Script: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HbBgFiP08mA.
  2. On behalf of the administrator from the distribution, run AbletonKeyGen.exe, insert the code from the saved instruction into the appropriate field and click on the Generate button. A license file is generated, which must be saved per slave. Then drag the license file into the authorization window.
How to run Sylenth1 in Ableton Live
If you're using the 64-bit version of Live, make sure you install only the 64-bit version of Sylenth1. Use the 32-bit version of Sylenth1 only if you're using the 32-bit version of Live.
In order to properly load and register Sylenth1, open Ableton in 'Administrator Mode'. To do so, right-click Ableton and choose 'Run as Administrator' and click 'Yes'.
When Ableton opens, select 'Options' in the menu bar and choose 'Preferences'. In the preferens window select the 'File Folder' tab.
Under 'Plug-in Sources' make sure the option 'Use VST Plug-In Custom Folder' is switched On.
Click 'Browse' and select the VST folder where you installed Sylenth1.
Now Sylenth1 should be listed in the Plug-ins list. Double-click 'Sylenth1' to load it.
The full version of Sylenth1 will ask you to activate Sylenth1 when it's started for the first time. Click here to find out how to activate Sylenth1.

PROCESS.AUDIO plug-ins are compatible with Ableton Live 8 and above in 64-bit mode ONLY.

1. PROCESS.AUDIO plug-ins are 64-bit only. So make sure you are NOT running your DAW in 32-bit in a 32-bit environment. Ableton Live 8 and 9 need to be installed with their 64-bit installers whereas Ableton Live 10 is already 64-bit only.

2. Make sure your plug-ins are installed in the correct and default locations: Fasm for mac os x.

Live 8 and 9 only use VST2 plug-ins wherease Live 10+ can use VST3 plug-ins.
